Clothing and Household Item Donations

Give your gently used clothing and household items a second life! Your donations stock our thrift store, promote reuse, and directly help fund our mission.

Your donations allow la Source d’Entraide to give a second life to a wide variety of clothing and household items. Clothing for the whole family, toys, baby items, sports equipment, accessories and household goods can all find a new home through our thrift store when they are clean, complete and in good condition.

Our thrift store is open to everyone, and our items are offered at affordable prices to make them accessible to as many people as possible.

Some of the donations we receive are also distributed directly within the community, including through schools, daycares and other community organizations with specific needs.

Items that cannot be resold or redistributed are, whenever possible, directed to various recovery and reuse streams. Our sewing workshop also allows us to transform certain materials and give them a new purpose.

Finally, the revenue generated by our thrift store is an important source of funding for our mission. Every donation can therefore have an impact on several levels: promoting reuse, making affordable goods available to the community, and helping fund our community services, including food assistance.
