Food Assistance

La Source d’Entraide supports around 60 individuals and families in Saint-Lazare who are experiencing financial hardship through its monthly food assistance program.

Each month, beneficiaries receive a food basket containing a variety of items, including non-perishable foods, personal care products, meat, fish and frozen prepared meals. Depending on their needs, we also provide grocery and pharmacy gift cards.

la Source d’Entraide is able to support families throughout the year thanks to the collaboration of Moisson Sud-Ouest, food drives organized in local schools, and the many food donations received throughout the year.

Revenue generated by our thrift store, monetary donations, and gift cards provided by IGA Déziel through the generosity of its customers also help us enhance the food assistance we offer to families in Saint-Lazare.
